At jQuery.fn.setTemplateElement you check first for val() of element, then if val() return null - check for html() of element to get template body. Just found something like a bug in jtemplates (0.7.8).
At jQuery.fn.setTemplateElement you check first for val() of element, then if val() return null - check for html() of element to get template body.
In my case, I have template in div and val() returns “” empty string, not null (FF 3.6.8, jQuery 1.4.1). Of course code with html() not executed and my template not work.
